Jennifer H. Friedman is a partner specializing in estate planning, estate and trust administration, gift and estate tax law and business formation and planning. She has extensive experience and expertise in: counseling clients regarding their personal estate and business planning; drafting of trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, health care directives, prenuptial agreements, and other estate and gift planning documents; pre- and post-death tax planning for individuals, trusts and estates; preparation and filing of estate tax returns and gift tax returns; charitable and legacy planning; and planning for domestic partners. Jennifer is certified by the State Bar of California as a specialist in the areas of estate planning, trust and probate law.
Jennifer received her law degree from the
University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of
Law, in 1997 and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford
University in 1994. She is a member of the American Bar
Association and the State Bar of California. Her professional
affiliations include the San Mateo County Bar Association,
the Palo Alto Area Bar Association, the Silicon Valley
Bar Association and the Peninsula Professional Subcommittee
of the Jewish Community Endowment Fund. In 2003 she served
as co-chair of the Women Lawyer’s Section of the
Palo Alto Area Bar Association. Jennifer is conversationally
fluent in Spanish and Italian. Jennifer is on the Board
of Directors of the Art of Yoga Project.
