Marvin S. Siegel is a partner specializing in estate planning, estate and trust administration, gift and estate tax law and business formation and planning. Marvin has more than 45 years of experience and expertise in: counseling clients regarding their personal estates and businesses; drafting trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, health care directives, qualified personal residence trusts, and other estate and gift planning documents; pre and post death tax planning for individuals, trusts and estates; preparation and filing of estate tax returns and gift tax returns; and charitable and legacy planning, including establishment of family foundations and other non-profit organizations.
Marvin received his law degree from Stanford University Law School in 1961 and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1958. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association (Real Property and Probate & Trust Law Sections), as well as the San Mateo County Bar Association, Palo Alto Area Bar Association, and the Peninsula Professional Subcommittee of the Jewish Community Endowment Fund. Marvin is a Director of Sinai Memorial Chapel, a mediator for the City of Palo Alto, and past president of the San Mateo County Legal Aid Society.
